Take a roll of masking tape and a felt tip pen. Cover the slogan, write a new one.

Stick to your faith, like glue. It will get you through a crisis.

How about this for tasteless religious tack? I think it is rather comical.

Should I laugh, grit my teeth or cry? I'll opt for laughing.

"..while you take refuge in the closet during....!"

In my time in my area of England at least the word "closet" was one of the euphamisms for WC, Toilet, Lavatory, or in the USA - Washroom.

So it raised a smile for me at least.

I liked the "plus tax and shipping"

Derek,

As I have gotten older, if had to take refuge for any length of time. I think the closet (WC) would suit me fine.

Somebody gave me a plastic bottle full of Lourdes water. It was also a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. To get at the water, one had to remove the head. I thought that was a bit too tacky.

I have one of those. (pause while I find it) ..... No, it can't be identical - you don't have to remove her head, only her crown - a blus plastic screw on crown.

Shucks!

Joan

I am familiar with the plastic version which is quite acceptable.

Here however is the (pre-V2) glass version on which the (post-V2) plastic container is based!

Plastic is NOT post V2. My identical plastic bottle is 1958 (centennial year) vintage. :wh:

Thanks for the clarification, O'Sullivan B. I though plastic had been introduced by Charismatic Renewal, and improved by the Neo Catechumens.

And he's the first Pope to own an iPod. So ponder that while he sits on your desk, exuding a placid papal aura. Cast from polyresin, this Pope Benedict XVI bobblehead measures 7" tall and ships in an illustrated box.

The statue nods its head, sagely, or in agreement, or cross with you - whatever suits you.

It looks NOTHING like the Pope! If it did I'd love to have it on my desk at work.

I don't think it's one I'd go for. It's being mentioned in the correct section here too....as in tacky...ticky-tacky. I was fortunate enough to be very close to him a few weeks ago and to consider such an ornament...... well hunted Rose.

Mind you, I wouldn't want to give the impression that I was a member of the wrong church... is there a better symbol to wear?!
How about a nice badge? This one should get people talking.

Here is a nice sticker, printed on 4mil vinyl using water and UV resistant inks – meaning no fading in the sun or bleeding in the rain.

* Measures 3" x 5" oval
