R: Amen

Graciously hear us O Holy Lord, Father Almighty, eternal God; and vouchsafe to send Thy holy Angel from Heaven to guard, cherish, protect, visit, and defend all those that are assembled together in this house. Through Christ our Lord. R: Amen

Deus, qui, miro ordine Angelorum ministeria hominumque dispensas: concede propitius; ur, a quibus tibi ministrantibus in caelo semper assistur, ab his in terra vita nostra muniatur. Per Dominum nostrum.

O God, Who in a wonderful order hast established the ministry of the Angels and of men, mercifully grant that even as Thy holy Angels ever do Thee service in heaven,so at all times they may defend us on earth. Through our Lord.

Hinc Dei nostri Genetrix Maria,
Totus et nobis chorus Angelorum
Semper assistat, simul et beata
Concio tota.

May the fair Mother of the Light be o'er us,
Virgin of Peace, with all the Angel chorus,
And may the heavenly army go before us,
Guiding and guarding.

Holy Angels, + our Guardians, defend us in battle that we may not perish in the terrible judgment.

FEAST OF ST. TERESA OF THE CHILD JESUS, Virgin

Collect

O Lord, Who has said: Unless ye become as little children ye shall not enter the kingdom of heaven: grant us, we beseech Thee, so to follow in humility and simplicity of heart, the footsteps of the virgin St. Teresa, that we may obtain everlasting reward. Who lives and reigns.

Feast of St. Francis

Oratio

Collect

O God, Who through the merits of blessed Francis enriches Thy Church with new offspring; grant that by his example we may despise the things of this world and ever rejoice in partaking of Thy heavenly gifts. Through our Lord.

My children, behold the generations of men: and know that no one has hoped in the Lord and been let down.

Eccli. 2, 11.

We beseech Thee, O Lord, grant us to be aided by the prayers of Saint Luke Thine Evangelist, who for the glory of Thy Name ever bore in his body the mortification of the Cross. Through Our Lord.

Gradual for the Feast of the Holy Family

Unam petii a Domino, hanc requiram: ut inhabitem in domo Domini omnibus diebus vitae meae.
One request I have ever made of the Lord, let me claim it still, to dwell in the Lord's house my whole life long.                                          Ps.26, 4.
Perhaps others will keep this going as my contributions are likely to be rather erratic for the forseeable future. Those who depend on me are depending more heavily than in the past. I will keep on looking in but I just cannot promise it will be regularly, or for very long at a time.
