Urgent prayers have been requested for a young mother who has a serious drinking problem. She has acknowledged that she has a problem but is finding it difficult to get immediate help. We seem to have quite a few similar requests lately and I ask all who read this to pray for all who suffer, the drinkers and their families. I have included her in my petitions to Venerable Matt Talbot KatyA |

I'll join you in that, Katy. As she is a young mother, let us also pray for her family. |

Prayers are again needed for this young woman. She has been sober for six months but recently succumbed again to drinking. During her drinking periods she refuses to see her little daughter who obviously doesn't understand why, and although she has a devoted father and grandparents it is, to say the least, not a good situation for the little one. Please pray for the family |

She can have access to immediate (though not instant) help if she calls Alcoholics Anonymous. There is still time today. I pray that she will, or that she finds another path to sobriety. The website for full details in the UK is www.alcoholics-anonymous.org.uk If any other information is helpful, just ask and I will find what I can. Edited by OsullivanB, Monday, 8. June 2009, 17:31.
