Good News. Sean asks that we pray in thanksgiving.that National Institute for Clinical Excellence have approved him for a very expensive treatment only available to the most severe cases. If the treatment succeeds, Sean will suffer less and not be as dependant upon his wife who cares for him.
Update on Sean R:

Sean's new treatment was delayed for medical reasons, a new date has been arranged.

Treatment is due to start on Wednesday next week. From today to next Wednesday will be 9 days, so Sean's wife has asked if members will please pray a novena for Sean and his family.

I suggest we add to that, prayers for the medical team.
Message from Sean R's family

Sean is progressing nicely. He is on the new treatment, it will take up to a year to have full effect. He received the Sacrament of annointing when his new treatment started.

He is now more active, has some set backs but the whole family are hopeful for the future. Some time last year, they were concerned they might lose him.

The family want thanks to be passed to Catholic Cyberforum members, for the Novena.

Please continue your prayers for SeanR. The treatment approved by National Institute for Clinical Excellence is, on the whole, leading to improvement in health but the reduction in swelling in vertebrae has led to a major muscle shifting, he is having intensive physio treatment for that. Also please pray for his wife, who is committed to his care 24 hours a day.
Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, pray for them

“It is most laudable in a married woman to be devout,
but she must never forget that she is a housewife.
And sometimes she must leave God at the altar
to find Him in her housekeeping.”
