This theme has been running through many of our threads. Many have criticised an obsession on the part of some about over scrupulous attention to rules and canon law. The encyclical rightly places the emphasis on the practicalities of our religion. It focuses on good works rather than clerical fussing. This is how we in practice hold on to the truth - by doing.
