The version (sung by Irish nuns?) during the first half of the clip was the version I know well. The descant or slightly varied version is not familiar to me but was also pleasant. Thank you Katy A! I agree, hardly the enthusiastic version I remember of the days of the procession but perhaps my memory deceives. (Don't get me wrong, Clare, I'm not becoming a trad!) |
