To day (Saturday 27th June) I was deeply honoured to represent my Parish at the Shrewsbury Mass of Celebration for the 2000th Anniversary of Saint Paul the Apostle.

The Mass was celebrated at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King, Liverpool,

The Chief Celebrant was The Right Reverend Brian M Noble, Bishop of Shrewsbury.

In the Cathedral I was with about 2000 other people from the Diocese.

In his opening The Bishop stated how wonderful it was to Celebrate this Particular Mass in the Cathedral as St Paul's preaching and teaching was always about Christ the King.

In my Communion Meditation I prayed for the intentions of all our members and their families and for all guests who visit our forum. Also I commended to Christ the King and St Paul the intentions of all the prayer requests for our sick and housebound members. A further prayer was offered for those who care for the sick.

God Bless us all.

St Paul Pray for us.

God Bless all who visit this forum,

Alan.
