I read on RNS that for the first time an Arab is representing Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest as part of a duo -- one's Christian and one's Jewish -- in the first time an Israeli entry has featured lyrics in Arabic. Unfortunately, I find the contest generally unwatchable - but sometimes we watch the results - This year it's without Wogan,I believe, so we may not even do that
