I am going on a weekend retreat ~ a real answer to prayer! I felt I just needed a little bit of space, peace and quiet, so I e-mailed the Convent where I am an Oblate, and Sr. Ruth phoned me to say they have a room available this weekend! I was expecting to have to wait a few weeks, as you usually have to book in advance. I have the little bed-sit room, right next to the Chapel, so can pop in and pray whenever I like  It will be a silent retreat, so plenty of opportunity to pray, meditate and reflect. My husband will also have as much space as he needs to practise his bass guitar while I'm away! I will pray for you all while I am there  Mrs.P xx
