I'm not too keen on the idea of a modernist, post V2 Kissing area. An area has no roof. Semi enclosed shelters should be the norm. As CARLO is wont to say, Traditionalism is making a big comeback, particularly with the young. Before Vatican 2 spoilt everything, kissing shelters were widely available in all liturgical colours.
