This is just Mick's take on the green cardigan thing - not to be taken too seriously.

With steely glare they transfix the unsuspecting soul,
Pinned by a look that they may swoop and instill fear.
The fault of speaking to Father without their consent,
For they have to judge what is fitting for his holy ear.

The sun outside may blaze from a clear blue sky,
And cars like ovens await their owners to bake.
Yet she who must be obeyed will in Cardigan Green
Stamp her foot and cause the earth to quake.

For those attending Mass this bright Sunday,
The lady is but a thorn in the side.
While Mass remains a holy devotion for all,
She can’t see it through her pride.

Pity the lady in green, who’s tabernacle is a closed mind.
Pity the lady in green and pray for her miserable soul.
Pity the women who gives the wrong impression,
While digging for herself a rather deep hole.
