Posts: 3,415 Group: Members Member #14 Joined: September 26, 2006	The announcement of the relics of St Theresa of Lisieux to this country and the possible benefits makes me suggest a topic of discussion. We often hear of people on pilgrimages to miraculous statues and pictures, most often of Our Lady, and healing or other benefits of relics. Surely whilst the descriptions tend to say otherwise it is Almighty God who carries out the miracles as a result of people begging Our Lady and the relevant Saints to pray for their requests to God? One might also ask why particular statues or pictures are chosen for miraculous benefits and not others?
