Maybe we can post about what it was like growing up, fun memories of our childhood, going to Mass (or wherever we were brought up in our faith journey).

Okay, I'll start. I began to read when I was quite small. When my mother would take me to church (I was brought up Anglican), the way to keep me quiet during the service was to give me a book to read. She made the mistake one Sunday of giving me one with pictures of animals. I saw a photo of some fuzzy thing I loved and immediately screamed out loud - during the sermon. My mother turned fifty shades of red, tried to shut me up (which of course was an impossibility), then ended up dragging me out of the pew, down a portion of the aisle and into the church hall. Not only was I screaming with delight, I was also screaming in frustration from being dragged away from my book and my poor mother was mortified by the entire event. :o How do our priests manage to get through the Mass when the kids scream like that?

Maybe next time I will post about shoving mashed potatoes up my nose!!!!!
