Karin Posts: 825 Group: Members Member #9 Joined: September 26, 2006	As Americans we tend to go overboard with just about everything and normally the Chicago River is died green each year for this event. Parades are everywhere and green beer is served, along with the corned beef and cabbage (as Mick said, he wouldn't be eatin' it, even if I cooked it...'cause neither would I). We go to such extremes with the celebrating...it boggles the mind. We will raise a quiet toast to St. Patrick and enjoy the day with a prayer to him as well. After all, it should be a religious celebration, not a pubcrawl!
