We've finally reached the summit of the NWCL after 39 games, and boy do we deserve it. There's no stopping us now, onwards and upwards, let's go for that 4th successive promotion.

sing it loud and proud!

We are top of the league, say we are top of the league! :D

Well I've got to hand it to you boys, you've been superb all season and even managed to keep it going when playing a game every other day. Congratulations and well played.

Just read a post on our site though from someone at Lairds saying the Bullets will be in the Midlands league next year. Can anyone confirm this?

It will be a shame as I really enjoyed both our games this year, however on a plus side we won't have to hear Glockos bugle, I wont have to buy him another beer and at least I can speak the language down there loike!

All the best lads, see you in the conference Ole ole ole!!!! ;)

Cheers Brum, good look next season.
The guy who posted on your forum sounds remarkable similar to the one who did the 'cocked up' thread here, nature of forums I spose!! :(
The game at your place still ranks as my fave of the season.
Here's to next year and more adventures!!! See you in the Trophy!!
We're at Stone Doms next Wednesday if any of you lot want to come down for a jolly...even if it costs me a pint!!!

First of all I would like to say congratulations to all at Cammell Laird for finally getting to the summit. We have kept top spot warm for you for 41 games, albeit Alsager had a four day stint during that period.

It would take an almighty collapse for you not to hold onto pole position, and I don't think that is likely to happen, so well done from all at Skelmersdale. We always knew that to win the League we would have to finish above you, because you have an incredibly good squad, but we would like to think that we gave you a run for your money, and at least made it interesting for you in the last couple of weeks.

Our aim was to finish in the top three this season and get promotion to the Unibond. We've finished second, and the news is that the top three are going up so it's mission accomplished for us. Indeed, I look forward to renewing acquaintances next season, and hope the good relationship between both clubs continues!
