Well played yesterday lads. I really thought it had 0 - 0 all over it as we both seemed to be cancelling each other out. But terrific goal and top save by your keeper towards the end. Nice to see a decent away support although I think Glocko needs more practise on his bugle. You can have a hug when we're both in the Unibond! All the best, and hope to see you all next season. |

Cheers for that. Good hospitality from the Alsager fans yesterday. You were also very gracious in defeat - give yourseleves a pat on the back lads. Well done to the farsiders as well, backed their team throughout the match and created a good atmopshere which added to the occaison. The only downside of the day was that you run out of pies. <_< Regarding the referee, where did he get the 10+ minutes of injury time from? I had never seen anything like it before. Just before the goal was scored (and what a goal it was) we were all shouting for the ref to blow his whistle as we would have been more than happy with the draw. That's football though, Lairds got the rub of the green yesterday, I'm sure things will even out though. Once again thanks to the Alsager fans for making yesterday an enjoyable day out.

Thanks to all the Lairds fans who have come onto our message board to say they enjoyed their day out at Alsager. Looks like the battle will go on after both or our results today! We were shocking! All the best Lairds, Far-Side ULTRAS |
