Council of Saradomin Death Match Tournament This event is one that I have been waiting to see for a long time now. Myself and many others have longed for this event to take place. There was a previous attempt at such an event, but it ended up falling through. Now, I say to you, gather your weapons, collect your foods and potions, dust of that old rune scimmy and spread the word, for the COS Death Match Tournament is finally here!!!! This event will take place over an undetermined amount of time. Each participant will be paired with a fellow COS member and they will fight to the death. Winners move on, losers go home. This is the big time fellas, no crying allowed. Reason To improve the overall ability of our members in the area of fighting tactics, strategy and pking. Also for honor, pride, and most importantly BRAGGING RIGHTS Are you the best pker in cos? PROVE IT Rules 1. Each participating COS member will be paired against another participating COS member. Regardless of the level difference, the fight will be fair. Only the two participants can agree upon the conditions of the death match. For example, Mistofminn fights Hussain D R in the first round. The combat levels is not too far off (86 versus 91), however the range level of Hussain D R makes this fight a little lopsided. In order to make this fight fair, Mistofminn and Hussain D R (and only those two) can decide on the conditions of the fight. For example, Hussain D R can range but with no armour on while Mistofminn is allowed to wear green d'hide armour for the fight. Both sides must agree to the conditions of the match before the match will take place. ALL FIGHTS WILL MUST BE VERBALLY AGREED UPON BY BOTH PARTIES FOR THE MATCH TO BE LEGITIMENT. First round matchs will be f2p against f2p, and p2p against p2p as requested. After the first round anything is fair game. 2. Winner of each Death Match gives back all the losers items (unless specified winner keeps in pre-match agreement) and moves on to the next round to face another winner. A losers or consolation bracket can be made if the demand is there, but for now lets just go with the single elimination tournament. A pairing may agree to do best out of 3 or 5, this is completely acceptable to avoid any fluke victories. 3. In order for a match to be counted, one of two things must happen. A third COS must be there to witness the match OR both sides must agree upon the winner. We are men of honor, we really shouldn't need a third member to be there to confirm the winner. Lets be honest and respectable. 4. In the event anything goes wrong, such as one member lags badly or another player comes and starts a fight, the match will have to be immediately stopped, and both sides can restart from the beginning. Winners will not be accepted if the loser lagged. These will be fair fights, won with honor. Cheating will be looked down upon. A Few Last Words The point of this event is to have a ton of fun, as well as improve the pking ability of our individual members. Players gathering to watch scheduled DMs is very encouraged, as well is "unscheduled" DMS, meaning that you can just challenge any member you want to a no-risk DM. We are a brotherhood, we must look out for each other. Be honest in defeat and humble in victory. Even if you lose in the first round, at least you know you are in a clan with MANY great members to back you up. There are no losers here, only winners. In the end a winner will be crowned and all of COS will be there to witness the final Death Match. The winner of the tournament will be given a small reward, around 300k or so either from myself, the bank, or donations alike. The reward may grow if people choose to wager on there individual matches. Keep in mind, the sky is the limit!!! Post below if you plan on participating in the following format: Runescape Name: Combat Level: Significant Levels: (Attack, Strength, Defense, Hit Points, Magic, Ranged and Prayer) Type of Combat you plan on using:  People in Danger of Forfeiting their match: Mistofminn (Cannot find convenient time to fight) Icie Juicy (Busy lately and has not been on much) Killerkill77 (No activity lately) Cod367 and Dark Blad368 (To my knowledge both have shown little or no activity, correct me if I am wrong, I am only on IRC a few hours a day) I Saradomin3 (No activity of late, Gold Baloney has made the effort to plan this match) Other than that, great job everyone. If none of these people have responded in any way by Friday June 22, they will effectively have forfeited their matches and the opponent will be the winner by default. Deadline for first round matches to take place Sunday June 25, after this date, we will be moving on with or without you. Winners pot is now up to 650k!!!!! To the winner go the spoils!!! Matches were chosen at random, with respect to f2p and p2p players, and a few requests. Post questions here also, sorry this post is so long!!! |

Just 2 questions Mist. First, I guess this will take place in Wild and if so, will the 2 paticipants have to move to that part of the Wild in order to Combat against one another. But if it takes place in the Wild, what happens if some pk'rs come along and kill both? Secondly, why not start like a bracket page or something? Just a suggestion no need to do such a thing. |

Wizz, for members, the death match can take place at dual arena, but for f2p players such as myself, then yes, in the wild and i stated before, if a pker comes, the match must stop because it is from then on unfair. who knows maybe the 2 participants can kill the pker? lol if not then this is why we are having low risk duels, such as NO ARMOUR or cheap armour like iron. it really depends on what you want. and yes i will be making a bracket and posting it once all the participants are confirmed, thanks for reminding me wizz and gardens, i beleive the word you are looking for is MELEE not COMBAT lol |

wizz i can work something out, the only thing you would have to worry about is fighting a f2p player somewhere down the line. because if its the championship you will have to play in f2p against a f2p player, there is no other way i can pull some strings and make a p2p match for you first couple rounds, and if all else fails i'll lend you whatever you need skit, significant as in the ones in parenthesis...loll i'm just to lazy to look up every ones stats on hs's |
