Clan News It's been an eventful time in the COS these past couple weeks. We have had to deal with a growing pain; TF. Relentless as they may seem, we have started to out will them in this annoying war. We have new precautions that are apparently working. In other news, it feels like summer again. We had a really good turnout at our Castle Wars event and the IRC and Forum are more active than ever. Plus we have had a flury of new members. So it looks like this summer is going to be another good one for the COS. Alliances/Enemies We are pleased to welcome a new ally this week: OverDrive Empire. They are a clan of about 30 members, and most of them are combat 100+. They will be an invaluable asset for trips like Fight Pits and Castle Wars, and provide PKing buddies for some of your higher-level members. You can find a link to thier memberlist at the top of our forum. Promotions/New Members Promotions: There haven't been any promotions lately, but we have made some minor changes in our Staff. The position of Forum Mod and IRC Mod have been combined once again. This means that we now have 3 Mods total and we are reviewing to promote another one. Remember we are a Brotherhood, it is important to know your brothers! Events Event Recaps Castle Wars Trip Attendance: Pretty good turn out, 14 people total showed up throughout the event. Fun: Lots of fun killing and owning. Success: Pretty successful. Rating: Attendance; 8/10, Fun; 8/10, Success; 8/10. Overall: 24/30 With a special thanks to Arudd17 for being the Caslte Wars MVP!   Cod367's 70 Mage Party Attendance: It was a small unofficial party with about 5-6 people there. Fun: Good amount of fun at Fight Pits. Success: Was actually a decent success, we owned with a small team. Rating: Attendance; 6/10, Fun; 8/10, Success; 8/10. Overall: 22/30  Upcoming Events Drop Party Leading: Lord A Fowl When, Time: Date and time not set Where: Meet sara statue w47 What to bring: Lots of bank space Advice about event: Lord A Fowl will be dropping various items. (yews, bars, cash, ranged gear, runes, perhaps an amulet, gems, and more). I will also be dropping a few rune items at the very end. New Updates/Ideas Progress Checks Recruitment Rewards - Everytime a new applicant lists a current COS Member as the person that referred them to the COS, that member will be rewarded with 25k! - I hope this is the added motivation needed to boost recruitment :D! COS Lottery 3rd Round - So far the pot is up to 75k and once I check the other ticket sales I believe it will be 175k.
