Clan News Once again the COS Staff have been having a lot of discussions on ways to improve the Council of Saradomin and we think we have our game plan down. We want to focus on making our events better, since this is one of the most important parts of a clan. So to do this we've set up some new systems that we think will help. Hope you enjoy the great events to come.  Alliances/Enemies COS and LI P2P PK Trips With the combination of our two clans in P2P, we have taken our PKing ability to a new level. I hope that we can continue on this path and strengthen our Alliance and continue to have great PK Trips.    Promotions/New Members Promotions: We have had no recent promotions since the last COS Newsletter was put out. Also to all of the Applicants for the position of Recruitment Officer and Diplomat; we have decided to no longer have these positions in the clan. We are sorry if you have applied but we encourage you to apply for the next suitable position open. New Members: distant nova Jhangir o o0 o0 o1 As always I urge everyone to get to know these new members and just make yourself familiar with them. Remember we are a Brotherhood, it is important to know your brothers! Events Event Recaps Allied P2P PK Trip (COS & LI) Attendance: It was a pretty big event 30 or more ops for the majority of the event. Fun: Was a lot of fun, great people for the most part. Except we got BSed at the end of the event by some people that joined our team. No COS members died! Success: A very successful event, we owned a dozen skulls ranging from full rune to full mystic. PWNAGE... Rating: Attendance; 9/10, Fun; 8/10, Success; 10/10. Overall: 27/30  Upcoming Events Giant Mole Trip Leading: Jiantong When, Time: Thursday May 31st, 7:00 AM PST, 10:00 AM EST, 3:00 PM GMT Where: Meet at world 143, Fally Bank What to bring: Candle, spade and food. Advice about event: Make sure your candle is kept lighted or you will die. The mole hits quite hard but only uses melee so just pray. Range is good on it and mage is useless. New Updates/Ideas Progress Checks Recruitment Rewards - Everytime a new applicant lists a current COS Member as the person that referred them to the COS, that member will be rewarded with 25k! - I hope this is the added motivation needed to boost recruitment :D! Anyone entering the Abyss while already skulled has their timer reset, so they have to wait at least another 10 minutes for the skull to disappear. The abyssal bracelet, released in last week's Crafting update, has now been upgraded to prevent the timer being reset in this way, so if you've been skulled and then put on the bracelet, the skull's duration won't be extended when you re-enter the Abyss. This doesn't use up any charges on the bracelet. The jacket and cap from An Enlightened Journey may now be stored in your houses' costume rooms. Players visiting the Fountain of Heroes or Legends' Guild to recharge their amulets, necklaces and bracelets will be glad to hear that the fountain now recharges all the amulets of glory in your inventory (including any that you're wearing) without the need for repeated clicking, and the totem pole in the Legends' Guild does the same for the bracelet of combat and necklace of skills. Finally, you'll find that the minimap icon for general stores has been changed. It used to represent a pot of flour. It's been pointed out to us that general stores don't usually stock pots of flour, so the icon now resembles an empty pot. Please try to contain your excitement.
