Canadians plant flowers in their gardens. +5ºC (41ºF) Italian cars refuse to start. Sales of Saab open top convertibles continue to rise in Canada. 0ºC (32ºF) Distilled water freezes. The water in the Candian rivers Slows down a bit but fishing is still good. -5ºC (23ºF) The Governor in Florida declares a national emergency. The Canadians continue to barbeque outdoors. -10ºC (14ºF) British central heating sytems break down when the electric goes off. Canadians switch to long sleeve shirts. -20ºC (-4ºF) The Saudis call an OPEC summit; they cant pump oil out of the ground. Canadians look forward to autumn. -30ºC (-22ºF) People in Greece Freeze into statues. Canadians switch to drying clothes indoors -40ºC (-40ºF) The banks in Paris collapse with the pressure of the ice, Notre Dame cathedral topples. Canadians form orderly an orderly queue at hot-dog stalls. -50ºC (-58ºF) Poler bears evacuate the north pole. The Canadian army starts planning winter survival training -70ºC (-94ºF) Santa and his reindeers move base. The Canadian army starts winter manoeuvers, on foot. -183ºC (-247ºF) Microbes in food die. Canadian cows think the farmer`s hands are getting cold. -275ºC (-460ºF) All atom based movement ceases. Candians remark ( "holy cow its! chilly today!" ) if outside. -300ºC (-508ºF) Hell freezes over. The Canadian Army finnaly dominates the World in 2010 Skillz, you are truely lucky. |

I guess the point is that the world is getting colder. Anyways, at those temperatures, where wud you get food from? With permafrost, no plants or animals would survive, and power would be too expensive to extract. At the freezing temperature of permafrost, we would die. Let's just hope that Planet C will be our rescue in the future. If the chance comes to bring people to populate that planet, I'll definately be on it. Several advantages: 1) Guarantee'd laid ![]() 2) get to explore a new planet and be famous 3) Survive a possible ice age |
