Crystal's faith, Quartz's fire, Amber's wave, show y

It was a chilly morning, and most of the Clan would still be sleeping this morning. One cat, a golden tom was stretching outside the warriors' den, the orange stripes along his body standing out against the chilly morning. His forest-green eyes scanned the camp, and it seemed almost empty. Was he the only cat awake at this morning? Lightningfur tucked his forelegs out underneath him, beginning to wash his ear. His thoughts immediately slid to his daughter, Amberpaw. Although she did not know it, he was her father. Dreamcloud, his mate and Amberpaw's mother, had died in a fire long ago, on the outside of Clan territory. He, had carried Amberpaw herself back to camp, and she grew up never knowing that he was her father. There were two other kits.... one by the name of Crystal, and the other by the name of Quartz. He had seen them long ago, but he had never searched for them. He had feared he would stumble upon them dead, taken cruelly to DreamClan like their mother. Sighing, Lightningfur knew that he would never solve his problems right away. It would be wrong, to sit here and do nothing for AshClan, when they would need him most. A glance at the fresh-kill pile told him that they needed to hunt, as well as take a few patrols out... "AshClanners! Who wants to patrol with me?" His strong call echoed around the camp, and Lightningfur glanced around to see who would answer his call. |
