hola. Posts: 1,770 Group: Co-Admin Member #59 Joined: December 15, 2006	Scaleflash delicately padded into the cool cave called Starpool, her thin silver tabby fur not providing much protection against the chilly wind from outside. Shivering, the medicine cat licked down her ruffled pelt and stared into the darkness. She was first, as usual. Scaleflash settled down on the stone ground to wait for her fellow medicine cats. She was eager to share news of DustClan's newest- and only- queen, Dartfoot, and the three healthy kits that she had given. However, the she-cat couldn't help wondering- what had been going on in the other clans? ((ooc\| Yes, I know this is a few days early, but Izzy asked me to start it so yeah. :3 Just reply whenever you get to this, for ashclan and streamclan probably after the battle if possible.))

One of those girls (nothing but trouble) Posts: 363 Group: ADMIN Member #88 Joined: January 20, 2007	Charredfur had almost run onto the Starpool mountain right through DustClan's territory, breath coming in short gasps as she made her way to the familiar cave. She felt... anxious today, as though something particularly strange was going to happen -- she'd barely said a word to Jaggedstar to ask permission (he just snorted and flicked his tail; not much of a talker, was he?) and the DustClan warriors had looked at her strangely. It didn't matter too much, she decided as she finally reached the Starpool cave; she was rather paranoid and this feeling happened too often to be anything serious. The silver pelt of Scaleflash caught Charredfur's eyes as she entered, dipping her head to the DustClan medicine cat as she sat down to wait for the others. "How's the prey running?" she asked after a moment, never really sure what to say (this was why she usually turned up last; so she didn't have to speak so much to the others). Where were AshClan and StreamClan, anyway?

Even though medicine cats were sort of above normal clan rivalry, she knew Jaggedstar would not thank her to be sharing all of their clan's news. The silver tabby twisted to lick down a patch of ruffled fur on her back. "How is StormClan faring in this leaf-bare?" the medicine cat asked.

"This leaf-bare has been strangely kind to us... we're strong." It wasn't exactly a lie -- the Clan was perfectly healthy -- but their decreased numbers had been worrying Charredfur recently. There were no queens that she knew of, which meant no kits... perhaps they were waiting until the bright newleaf weather to kit. It would make sense; although what would the medicine cat know about falling in love and having kits, she thought bitterly.

We really need to get on with it to begin the plot. It will be more interesting if there is no medicine cats when the attack happens. They will be back by the time the attack is over.))

Scaleflash patted her tail on the ground as she waited for the last medicine cat- Moonstone, was it?- to come. At last, she stood up with a sigh. "We may as well start walking in," she mewed. "I'm sure Moonstone will be here soon." Shaking out her old paws, the medicine cat settled into a steady pace into the dark cave.

She dropped her head onto her paws and curled her tail about her, making herself comfortable to receive her message from DreamClan.
