There's something odd with the lettering of PMC 1202 on the rear of this unfortunately not-so-good copy. Different font than what we're used to...

I agree.
1st back cover (EJ Day) has wider print, and the letters/numbers are not bolded.
2nd back cover (yours, G&L) has much narrower print, and both the numbers and letters "curl" more.
3rd back cover (G&L, small mono) has print resembling the EJ Day cover. However, the print is bold, and PMC is closer to 1202.
