check the EMI stampers at 3 o'clock to see if they are the letters of the 70's or the numbers and letters that were stamped in the 80's
I have one a SOLID centre of 'Mind Games' put cannot check the stampers at present
There are SOLID issues of all Lennon's singles bar 1982's LOVE... so i believe

Hi Guys

The Apple labels are definitely Matt and not shiny

A side has 7YCE 21736-2U stamped into the run out area plus

S - 45 - X - 45158 - Z10 scratched in with initials TR also present

B side has 7YCE 21737-2U stamped into the run out area plus

S - 45 - X - 45169 - Z10 scratched in plus what looks like CV

Picture sleeve looks identical to other editions I have from 1973 issue

Does this help anyone to classify the pressing dates etc ?

Regards to all

no but it has to be early and it looks like a very exciting find !!

ps you can't see anything else in the run outs ? no mother at 9 o'clock and stamper letter(s) at 3 o'clock ?

the other info is common to normal pressings but if there are no mother stampers i am starting to think an as yet never seen for this 45 Decca solid contract similar to those for Live and let Die.

The Liva and let die DEcca has pips, this one has usual EMI Polo rings .

Do all non solids of this single have a stamped matrix on both sides ending in 2u/2u with an accompanying etched matirix: s-45-x-48158-z10 and s-45-x-48169-z10 ?

Thanks

No mother or stamper info is visible

Is this likely to be a 1973 pressing?
