Hi I am new to this site , those over the last couple of years I have always checked out a lot of posts. My first post is regarding the sgt pepper stereo/mono box 1 uk label crossover's, I have a couple of copies of this , all the copies I have seen in the past have always carried a stereo matrix, my first copy I brought also had a stereo matrix, but last year I brought another cheap copy on eBay thinking are just sell it and make a little cash ,but when comparing it to my other copy the labels where completely the same but the other copy had a mono matrix, just wanted to know if anyone else has come across these stereo/mono labels with the mono matrix. |

No they both came in mono sleeves, but i have now put them both into the 1969 hybrid sleeves, i guess it's only right being they have mono catalogue numbers with stereo YEX. |

Got a nice mint from parlogram a couple of years back, my other sleeve is vg+, I would say sgt pepper has the most box 1 issues, I think I have over 10 different types , there are 3 different box one mono copies I have 3 of them but 2 are the same, just looking out for the 3rd type. |

Would love to know the one box stereo variations, as I collect sgt pepper releases worldwide. Ten different types is amazing, I know maybe of 4 variants only.... Concerning the one box mono, you mean the following three, right ? 1)Standard one box mono with mr kite ! 2) same with mr kite! (i.e. no space after kite) and 3) YEX text on the label with PMC release no.). Or are there others ? Either sleeve is correct for the one box monos (hybrid or standard mono), right ? Mine have hybrids. |

There 3 mono types of UK box 1 the two you have said about , plus one with different spacing between northern songs and the beatles, Then there are two pmc/yex pressings one with stereo matrix,One with mono matrix. Then also I have two box 1 box 2 crossovers, ie side 1 box 2 side 2 box 2 and also the other way round. Then the box 1 stereo types, |

Servi, I can't seem to add photos on here, but I think I have 4 or 5 stereo box 1 types, soon as I work out how to add photos I will show you which one's I have. |

With regards to hybrid sleeves, on one of my box 1 box 2 crossovers,One of the came in the second type of hybrid sleeve, which has no inner flaps ,stereo at the top and mono at the bottom. |

yes it is likely those second hybrids were an early or even the earliest batch of the new sleeves and of course unlike the other hybrid which was deliberate , was an error, so to see them with 1/2 box xova is both consistent and not unusual. |

All three mono/stereo hybrid sleeves that I own have incomplete laminate at the side and at the inner flipbacks. They are a bit "sticky" therefore and the glue residues attract dust. One is in lovely NM condition though, very shiny laminate. They came respectively with one box mono, one box stereo and Malaysian pressings. The stereo sleeve with "this is a mono recording" indeed is later than the true hybrid, and seems an error rather than a specific design for mono and stereo records. |

I still use photobucket, although most accounts were blocked. Imgur is another free site one I believe (http://imgur.com/upload), but in my hands the pictures became very big. |
