Help Identifying A Sealed White Album

I am trying to narrow down the origin (country, factory, year) of a sealed White Album that has the following characteristics.

Embossed "The Beatles" on the cover
On the spine "Stereo" and "SWBO 101"
On the back cover "Stereo"
Number on the front cover is "No. 2607703"

The disc is located in Canada so there is a possibility it is a Canadian pressing in a USA numbered jacket. The number on this cover and the style of the number is of the type of cover that was imported to Canada to house Canadian first pressings in 1968.

Any insights appreciated.

Thank you

Michael

Update:

I believe the number style starting with "No." indicates the cover came from the Winchester factory. Can anyone confirm this as correct.

Would this number style also confirm a 1968 cover?

Thank you

Per Frank's site, numbers from 250000 to 2680000 were allocated to Jacksonville and carry a No. with the o atop the period (as opposed to preceding the period, as with the next batch of numbers, allocated to Scranton).

So it sounds like yours is a Jacksonville copy.

I'm not sure about the date, but such a high number sounds like it might have been post-1968.

Charles is right.

A number that high might have come out in 1969 or even 1970, which means it is probably late enough that it is a US copy and not from Canada.

That's a Jacksonville pressing, yes.

Frank,

Roughly how long did Canada use imported US sleeves? My sense is it was a stopgap so Capitol Canada could meet the initial release date, but that's more gut feeling based on the relatively ease of finding copies in the Canadian sleeves than anything else.

What's the fun of having a sealed record without knowing what's exactly inside ? Or are you considering to sell it ?

Yeah, Charles, they only used them at first, and all the inserts were printed in Canada.

Chekhov would say don't show a sealed White Album in the first act unless you intend to open it in the second act.

Schrodinger would say that the LP is currently in a mixed state between mint condition and trashed.

Marx would say that outside of a dog, a sealed copy of the White Album is a man's best friend, and inside a dog there's not enough room for a turntable.
