......boy was I surprised.....Cardboard cover with slick on cover..breathe holes in place.....def NOT a re-wrap.....Figured Apple Jacksonville All rights most likely or maybe a left over cover using an Orange label.....Nope! 1978 Purple Label MFD ! Not rare but certainly a surprise to find. Jacksonville must have had plenty of left over covers from the Apple days! Figured some of you may find this a bit interesting! |

The Early Beatles was a very weak seller, so maybe the printer did have a lot of left-over back covers. PURPLE, eh? Interesting indeed. |

Yep! Purple! I was blown away. Certainly not what I was expecting but makes sense since that is most likely the weakest selling Capitol album. Now if that was an '83 Colorband............... |
