This may have been discussed before but i just got another but this time in a Widespine Pepper. I know that these do crop up from time to time in various EMI records but i am fairly sure they were not placed in all albums as otherwise we would see them a lot more. My suspicion is that the printers put them in in the covers that top and tailed the box of covers that were sent to Hayes ( so say if each box had 50 covers 2 would have stiffeners is my theory ) However I have only so far found them in earlier albums but never as late as a pepper before, actually the pepper was a bit of a Mike/Admiral find in that I took a punt thinking it might be an early 70's copy yet turned out to be a superb widespine with no far off near mint disc and unsplit fool inner so i am quite please with myself generally ( all of 12.50 + combined postage so reduced post too ) |
