Frank, back in 2013 you ranked the Japan issue of The Beatles Story EAS-77007/8 at number 7 on a list of most collectible for this title. Does that ranking still apply?

If memory serves, the Chilean version, Historia De Los Beatles, and the original Japanese red vinyl Odeon version were at the top of the list.

Yes, the Japanese reissue is still hard to find -- as far as that title is concerned. Yes, the Chilean and original Japanese versions are the hardest to find.

With the obi, the Japanese EAS reissues on Apple still only sell for about $20...but they do sell. A perfect copy with everything sells between $40 and $80.

The problem with Beatles Story is that most people don't want the record at all unless it is in NM condition.

Concerning the same title in a different format, what is the hardest to find cassette tape?

As far as I know, Beatles Story was only released on cassette in Canada -- in 1988. Does anyone else have (non-pirate) official cassettes of the record?

There is one currently at auction, The Beatles Story Volumes 1 & 2, Capitol TC-TBO-2222-1 TC-TBO-2222-2.
This is advertised as a Philippines issue. Dolby Sound logo with trademark is printed on the casing of each cassette. PARI MEMBER APPROVED is printed inside a circle on each cassette.

That's probably hard to find. I didn't know about it personally.
The problem is that Beatles Story is just about their least collected American record. If you buy it, try to get it cheap. :-)
