yikes better get my drill bit out .. i always assumed that these were solids drilled out by the juke box vendors ? its one of the reasons that all date post start of the emi solid centre era of late 66... |

Yes - Ive seen solid centres that have been drilled to look like jukebox issues but they cut the paper label and u can see how it has been drilled on inspecting the exposed vinyl in the hole These are genuine machine punched as you say - a jukebox company may have done this or an EMI plant - i have no proof strange how this practise only occurs between late '67 to '73 and then stops in the UK subsequent releases do not have the jukebox centres - so i do not accept that they are of malicious intent. especially as some of these are of obscure apple releases that would not warrant popularity plays in a jukebox. I have seen a bangla desh jukebox as well put do not have |
