Here's a listing foe a reel-to-reel stereo tape of Revolver that advertises the "full range Biasonic process." I've seen the Duophonic format for the Big Hits Of England And USA VA compilation, but I never heard of the Biasonic format. Any insight here as to what it is, date range, Beatles recordings on which it is found, rarity, etc. ? |

http://www.friktech.com/btls/tapes/rtr.pdf The Biasonic process from Magnetic Tape Duplicators was first used on commercial tapes from Capitol in the middle of 1965. For the first year (1965-66), the sticker reads NEW Biasonic process. From fall, 1966, to c. 1967, the sticker reads "Full Range" Biasonic process. |

Thanks, Frank. It looks like this stickered version was the norm for the stereo tapes, although I'm guessing that they were not big sellers. |
