Frank, was that copy of RS an emerald version? I can't see it from the photo, but you might have better info than I do.

That is the copy that was on eBay the last time we had an "Emerald discussion" and was the one that was pointed out as an Emerald.
It has the textured centre and has a very similar outer ridge to Emerald pressings. The word "emerald" is not visible on the side shown.

I can confirm that the PPM and RS are not emerald pressings
Both Albums have the exact same rough label with shiny large outer rim
RS on a 1 box parlophone Gramophone rim
PPM on a 2 box parlophone Gramophone rim
circa 1970
Does anyone know what company pressed these LP's

I couldn't resist buying this compilation LP. Some sources say 2000 copies were pressed, to be sold at the new Cavern in 1984.
