I have generally focused on LPs issued up to about 1971 or 1972, with the heaviest emphasis by far on the original release of an LP.

Lately, though, there have been some post-breakup releases that have blown my mind -- most prominently, the red label Egyptian copies of AHDN and BFS from 1977.

What are your most prized/coveted Beatles LPs issued after the breakup (aside from regular releases of LIB -- yes, I am aware this occurred after the breakup  )?

I'll start with five of my favorites, in addition to the Egyptian LPs mentioned above.

1. Italy, Sgt. Pepper, Stateside error labels
2. Germany, Musik Zum Mitmachen (from a music instruction series for use in schools)
3. Belgium, Sgt. Pepper with "woven" texture sleeve
4. Mozambique, 20 Greatest Hits on Ring label
5. Dominican Republic, A Hard Days Night, magenta one box Odeon labels (among many LPs issued circa 1974-1977 from this country).

Others?

You mean any LP, or only the ones that we own ? If you mean any LP, then in addition to your list I can think of the following:

- Croatia, Rubber soul - the only Beatles LP pressed there ? Only one copy known ?
- Germany, Sgt Pepper Columbia error label on one side. - One copy has surfaced thus far
- Mozambique, red and blue albums. - Not extremely rare, but nice to have
- Ireland, one box Pepper with Made in UK on label. - With 2 different fonts. So rare it's even missing in the Parlo book (and rightly so, because it's Irish) although it is mentioned.
- Italy, Sgt Pepper blue vinyl. - Rarest Italian Beatles LP ever ?
- anything from The Dominican Republic, especially Sgt Pepper and the Rovolver misprint
- After-hours pressings like the red vinyl UK Abbey Road. Unofficial but mouthwatering
- Germany, Sgt Pepper Apple DMM. Anyone got a copy for sale ? Hope to own one before I die.

Any LP, as long as you think it's cool. I'd like to hear which ones members have (and see pictures too!)

I remember your copy of RS on Croatian Records. Sometimes I check all the Yugoslavia LPs on ebay to see if I can find another from Croatian Records, but so far it's all Jugoton. That was a great find.

I also remember the Columbia error Pepper. Amazing. We might never see another.

If memory serves, Stefano Cipriani thought the blue vinyl Italian Pepper might be an after hours pressing too. I would need to check his book though.

Not that rare, but a favourite because of its amazing sound quality is the Pro-use Abbey Road. Also the MFSL LP box collection is great imo and the UHQR Sgt Pepper as well.

This is an interesting LP imo. It's a Parlophone custom pressing for the Cavern. Does anyone know how many were made ?

The mythological 'Emerald' Irish contract presses with UK labels. Only Rubber Soul, With the Beatles and Sgt. Peppers are currently known to exist, with only a couple ever surfacing.

It's very obvious if it's an Emerald or not - this is the Pepper copy I sold a while back.

In fact, just gone to popsike - only 3 Emerald contract copies have ever knowingly come up for sale, and my WTB and Pepper were two of them. But I did see a Rubber Soul which wasn't advertised as an Emerald.

Definitely interesting! I can't see the 'Emerald' embossed on them, though.

I would agree Mike - It does not have the same rough textured centre and the outer rim is slightly different. I would have to hunt the LP out to see if there are any other markings to give a clue of origin.

I'd be grateful if anyone could identify the PPM pressing

Didn't know about Rubber Soul. The Emerald LPs are certainly elusive. Thought I had a chance at a copy of WTB a couple of years ago but no luck.
