I have a copy of the first Hollyridge Strings LP, The Beatles Song Book, Capitol ST-2116. There is no Capitol pressing plant symbol to be found in the run-off. There is no pressing plant number to be found on the back cover. There is a wide pressing ring on the labels. The matrix number for Side 1 is ST-1-2116 W7-TH. Side 2 ST-2-2116 W7 TH. Could this be a contract pressing? |

Frank, when were the Rainbow labels manufactured on this one? |

If the labels are flat (matte), the contract pressing is c. 1966. If the labels are slick, they're later -- c. 1969. |

They look to be matte. Just out of curiosity, if they had been the 1969 variation would they have had the "subsidiary" print? |

Capitol never gave Columbia any of their "subsidiary" labels. |
