Are there any known Capitol Green label editions of Magical Mystery Tour with a Green STEREO sticker affixed to the shrink wrap?.

There were no stickers like that from Capitol, but a retailer may have put one on.

Just playing a hunch, is it made in the US or Mexico?

I know that Mexico was a bit slower to adopt stereo, which might explain the presence of a stereo sticker on a green label Capitol LP. By the time Capitol switched to the green label for LPs, mono had been dead for more than a year in the US.

If it is a US pressing, then I agree it had to come from a retailer.

This is a U.S. pressing with the large STEREO print on the labels, SMAL-2835.
