Suppose someone in this forum can enlighten me. Let it be, with box PXS 1 with red apple on backcover. First pressing Now and then an item without the box and book is for sale, also with the red apple on backcover. Somewhere it is mentioned it is a second press. But Somewhere else I have read they are surplus from 1st pressing (when they run out of box/book. What is up and down in this? |

they are probably just copies that lost their box, they were so flimsy many did not survive and were discarded. A second pressing may refer to a disc with a 3u 2u matrix, its hard to put labels on these pressings as they evolved, there is also debate as to green apple sleeves being available on the day of release but i find that unlikely, however some have been quite adament about that, i prefer faulty memory syndrome. |

No not at all, you can get 2u 3u / 3u 2u / and 3u 3u in export sleeves for certain, you may even see 2u2u's in them but thats less certain... I have recently found a back to front glued export sleeve which i was very surprised existed as the earliest that can date to is mid/late 72, of course that had a 3u3u as well, but i would have been surprised had it been any other. |
