What would be the estimated value for the scarcest version of She Loves You with the Black label and Lennon McCartney spaced tightly under the word Loves in the title?
Pressed by Monarch with possible Bert-Co. labels.
Or, to put the question another way, would $225.00 for this issue be a wise investment?

I am not exactly sure which copy you have. For value you may want to check the web site below as they list a number of collector quality black Swan's and they charge top prices.

F4C does not list the issue we are discussing. This one is extremely rare. I have seen it only twice. Once on Frank's site and last week in a memorabilia shop near where I live.

I paid $400 for my copy, if that is any indication -- and that was in an open bid on eBay.
And yes, it's even more rare than the white/red copies.

In my file on the Beatles Vee-Jay and Swan releases
http://www.friktech.com/btls/BeatlesBC.pdf

it is the bottom item on page 49, numbered 11F in my system.

If you let the page load and then search for 11F, you'll find it quickly.
