It looks too new to be the real deal.

Also the font looks wrong if you look at the"O" the centre should be more elongated not as round.

that sticker is so totally wrong it's embarrassing imho, it has value as a JR JR but that sticker diminishes it...

Just looking at his listing he says its 1G/JR which I think is the last time JR was used as B side so not that as early as it makes out.

yes but still nice stampers regardless, the sample sticker just ruins it...

Yes nice stampers but I think it's all its money,I would also agree the sample sticker detracts from it.

Definite fake sticker.
Why ruin a nice record like that one?

Because I think they think it will get even more money , but a real vinyl enthusiast wouldn't have done that to it.

You could only hope to remove it without doing any damage, but that could be quite unlikely.
Saying that it may have some graffiti underneath.

that's assuming the labels were clean, i suspect it may cover up an ugly legacy, to add a sticker as fake as that to a clean label to me would certainly be madness....but hey its getting the bids..

Just looking at his listing he says its 1G/JR which I think is the last time JR was used as B side so not that as early as it makes out.

Demonstrating the common misconceptions that (1) it's a 1G, therefore it was pressed first; (2) JR means it was a demo; (3) that only a few hundred were pressed, and (4) that a "Factory Sample" sticker has any real significance. They're not even first press labels. Very obviously a fake sticker; the font is wrong and the ends are cut at different angles. Bet he's got a few more of these stickers to drip-feed to the eBay gullible, too. Most eBay sellers at least use a genuine sticker (steamed-off another record) to cover up blemishes. Funny how a seller can say he's been "a collector for over 20 years" and people think "OK, that must be genuine, then". But the dimwit buyers will be happy - they wouldn't be bidding if they knew what to look for, so weasels like this - who even promise money-back guarantees - know they're safe from any comeback. And 10% to eBay too. Everybody wins!
