Can anyone describe, or better yet post a picture of the Capitol Records 45rpm sleeve that was in use in 1964? I am trying to match some Beatles 1964 Capitol records with the proper sleeve. |

I show the standard Capitol singles sleeves here http://www.friktech.com/btls/capitol/capitollabels.pdf The company sleeve shown in this guy's ad is the sleeve from 1964. Some records continued to use it until the end of 1965...I guess there was plenty of stock. There are a bunch of tiny variations of the sleeve, but I won't worry about those! http://www.ebay.com/itm/the-Beatles-Yester...=item2342aeea82 Posted Image |
