Copies with MONO on the label were pressed in Los Angeles.
Most copies without MONO on the label were pressed in Winchester, Virginia.
That's the only difference between them.

There is no distinction between values. All titles exist in both styles.

Thank you but I am aware of that. I was just wondering if anyone knew if the ones I have listed even exist. A couple other collectors verified their existence.

Hi. Not what you listed, but this is listed as UNPLAYED...

Ebay item number 291261315790

PS: I was under the impression the entire catalog was pressed on this label.

As I wrote, "All titles exist in both styles."

This photo shows a west-coast "Hard Day's Night."

This photo is ugly, but it's a full set of west-coast copies.

You can see the stereo/mono designators on the left on each label, and the color of the "Capitol" at the bottom is greenish.

I'm sure I have seen the east-coast copies, but since no one collects them, they don't come up for sale very often. Thirty years ago you could still find them everywhere.

I own a Winchester copy of "Ticket to Ride" (no "MONO").

If they DO all exist in both label styles (with or without MONO) then I guess some of them are just way harder to find. I'm surprised at how hard some of these variations are to find........

Some of the singles were probably reissued in more than one run; others in just one run. "The Ballad of John and Yoko" still had plenty of Apple copies in stock, so no US copies of the single are known to exist on the orange label.

By the way, the same thing happened with the "new purple" label in 1988...but to "All You Need is Love." Purple label copies are known to exist for all titles but that one.

I know the Orange labels aren't very collectable to many, but these pressings were my introduction to the Beatles vinyl. All my first issue purchases were either Orange or purple label 45's and lp's. As I was buying these between 1978-1981, all 45's and Lp's came with either label when I was buying these new in department stores. I'm still looking for some of these Orange labels so if anyone can help, please PM me.....
