Hi folks.

Just picked up some goodies from Andrews recent little Ebay bonanza.

Couple of EP's and a WTB xover one/two box. I'll let you know more when they
arrive...

One thing though, Andrew created another 'shop' on Ebay rather than using the usual 'Parlogram' shop to sell these items. Just wondering why...

I know that Henry toyed with the idea of creating a two-tier system, with one account for premium items, and one account for more workaday items. Does that seem to reflect what Andrew has done?

That seems to be what he is doing judging from the listings that I've seen.

Yes, I agree.

I did get the impression that I was looking at something for the poorer, less discerning collector. A kind
of budget store or 'pound shop' as we call them in the UK! And I'm certainly much poorer after all
the records I've bought over the past year!

Sometimes, I regret the day I decided "gosh...it would be really nice to have some original Beatles'
vinyl records".

So does the wife I might add...*SIGH*.

A wise man on this forum once said something like this: "wives should be glad we desire multiple records but only one wife, instead of the other way around".

I stumbled upon the second ebay shop by accident. It had a lot of records he had listed in his website store but with massively reduced prices. I picked up a mint Extra Texture, Some Time In New York City and a 1box With The Beatles. So I think he was just trying to move some old stock.

Well guys, the records arrived yesterday and I wasn't disappointed!

The WTB 1970 xover was lovely and certainly not worthy of a 'budget' sale.

Both EP's were nice too but the Beatles For Sale No 2 was the best with a near
mint sleeve. Both discs have a Factory Sample sticker on the labels.

The Total cost was just over a £100. for all three records, in my opinion
an absolute BARGAIN!!!!!

I needn't have had any concerns...

But I didn't find it (or I'm not sure). And why "Newby's"?? Sorry.

Would you mind posting a link after all?

"Newby" explanation... A slang term for something new. In this case, my new purchases.

Thank you.

Oh well. "Newby's" (that spelling!) looked like the shop's name :D It wouldn't have occurred to me that you can use it for purchases, either. Never mind.

Great shop, something to keep on the watch list!
