Was the Beatles German Polydor "Ain't She Sweet" from 1964 issued with this "Twist" sleeve? If so, was it only issued with this Beatles record or was it issued with other artists 45's as well? IMAGE Thanks - Beeb |

It was originally released with a colour sleeve with the titles printed on it. The first batch had the B-side as "If You Love Me Baby" on the sleeve and on the label, credited to "Trad., arranged Tony Sheridan". The second batch had the same song as "Take Out Some Insurance On Me, Baby", credited to Singleton/Hall, and the sleeve was the same basic style as the first one (text changed). If Polydor ran out of original sleeves they would use their red company sleeve with the Poydor logo on it. That "Twist" sleeve is a generic sleeve and I'm not even sure it's a Polydor one. Can you read the small print on it? |
