The 78 must have come out at about the same time as the LP ("Meet the Beatles: the singing brooms"), since both songs are on the record, and since the matrix numbers for the 78 are based on the catalog number (and track position) on the LP. That album came out in February, 1964, so your date is reasonable.

See here: http://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/artist/the-beatles/co

It only shows I saw her standing as white label though....never knew that promo versions of the Colombian 78 rpms existed. Must be the holy holy grail of collecting.

The white-label copies may not be promos. They appear to be similar to an Argentine white label. It could just be that Odeon was using white labels before they switched to the black/rainbow label, or they might be temporary labels.

The EP labels were also white.

While we're at it, pinio65, have you figured out anything with regard to the reissue Colombian LP's?

I know that the gold labels (mono and stereo) came out in 1969-70 to coincide with Codiscos' 20th anniversary. They opened in July, 1970. That black label must have come out shortly thereafter or shortly before.

I found a swirl label LP that I identified as being from 1971, but there's one with a "roulette wheel" label that I haven't identified.

The black/red EMI labels start in 1973.

I finally found images of nine of the compact 33 doubles, too. Label images you see, but the covers to some seem to be scarce.

The only image I'm missing is the 45 RPM single of "A Hard Day's Night," which I have never seen.

The one your list is missing is...

1966
EP: Revolver
Odeon OC 1161 [Mono] Kolumbia
The Beatles

Side A: Taxman / Love You To
Side B: She Said She Said / Dr. Robert

Both label photos are online -- bad images, but I have never seen a shot of the cover.

The white-label copies may not be promos. They appear to be similar to an Argentine white label.

It is lacking promo markings as well. What white label Argentina release with similar label style are you refering to Frank ?
