Only had the chance to play this twice so far (excepting the title track which has been on the radio for a while now) but my 1st impressions are good, some tracks will need more listening. I do like Appreciate, Save Us and Road already though, the "hidden" track too, what are your thoughts?

I wish I could say it was a masterpiece....... It doesn't do anything for me. I've now played the album 4 or 5 times and the only thing I can say about it is that I hate it. Never thought I would ever say that about a McCartney album (although Kiss My Ass was a piece of junk). The songs are poor, the record is overproduced, even some of the playing on it is quite sub-standard (the acoustic guitars on Early Days, for instance). I hate the lyrics to Early Days, it's a snub to anyone who has something to say about the Beatles, and this is coming from a man who last week claimed Revolver was issued before Rubber Soul. I rate this as the weakest ever solo-record by any Beatle, excluding perhaps some of J&Ys avant-garde-a-clue albums, but even Ringo The 4th had its moments, this waste of time doesn't.
