More of Dad's records: Small Faces Nut Gone Flake IMLP012 immediate lilac labels - these are more valuable/collectable than the pink? -1L/-2L matrices Side 1 stamped 1 and L Side 2 stamped 1 and R I assume this means 1st mother, but what do the L and R stand for here? KJT letters raised around spindle hole I know about the KT tax codes, but what's the extra J mean? It's a round sleeve, so I think that means it's original as I believe they later had square sleeves? |

KJT also applies to Beatles records, the last tax code for a short time in 1968 was JT but it looks like EMI couldn't be bothered with it and just added an extra J and thats where they could even be bothered to do that... Lilac labels are the earliest but in mono there is not any real difference between lilac and pink imho.....in stereo however Lilac is extremely rare although this is not affecting the price much yet imho... And even the re-issues are round so nothing to note there ! Your stampers nice and early but again that is not a big deal for this LP....it is mainly about condition |

It's got a plasic inner sleeve, is that right? I've got another Small Faces one, that I think might be a German reissue? Couldn't really find anything out It's ollp 5251 and the label looks like this: http://s1362.photobucket.com/user/Gc5410/m...21bd89.jpg.html |

No problem, collecting UK records must keep you busy enough! :-) If I find any more non-UK, i'll still post them just in case someone happens upon them and can help Last Small Faces one is on Decca lk 4790 with 5v/6v matrices Nothing really much to say about it, it's a later copy I guess? http://s1362.photobucket.com/user/Gc5410/m...c3ac49.jpg.html Fairly standard? Anything to look for? |
