Hi

I just got myself a RRS with the fully laminated Sleeve. (GBP 46,-)

Did this come before or after the Braille version, or were they co-existing.

Do any of you have insight in this matter ?

u lucky beggar, I've been trying to get one of them for ages....

From what I have seen the discs that come with this kind of sleeve do not have the WINGS logo on them ( earliest discs have the wings logo and are on heavier higher quality vinyl pre oil crisis )

If that is proved to be true then these sleeves are later than the Brailles, probably 1974/5 but they did not last very long, indeed they may have ran along side the brailes.

I take it the braille is not feelable under the lamination ??

I have a laminated one as well. No wings logos on the vinyl. My one has no braille as far as I can make out.

There is no Braille writing on this Sleeve.

Otherwise it has the same date code at the Bottom as the Braille version.

And I do have a Braille copy without the Wings logo on the label and they are pretty close stamper wise!

Yes you can find Braille sleeves into the 1980's so these laminated's must just appear for a very short time, my guess 74/5
