BTW that copy of OBG seems to have mismatched labels: side 1 is a matt type (typical of 1969 no SIUK releases) while side 2 is definitely more shiny.

What do you think Henry?

shiny labels after 1964 are usually as a result of cleaning sadly not manufacture, if you are not careful when trying to clean off a fingerprint you can end up with a shiny label...basically all Y/B labels after mid 1964 should be Matt....

Today I've got three all excellent copies (RS, Revolver and SP) with Gramo. rims: good to play.

A red labelled PPM (no center and in vg condition).

A mint/excellent UK press of the Blue Album with no George Martin credit on cover.

I'll post pics as soon as possible.

And an excellent stereo PPM with extra dot.

There's also a sticker (a shop one? Any thoughts?) on back cover.

What are your thoughts about value on the red PPM, that stereo PPM and the Blue Album with no GM credits?

hard to say without a centre 20-30 ?

the blue LP is 10-20, goes a bit too cheap in my opinion, has it got its gold sticker ??

ps i cannot find the thread on Revolver love you to...its not in the albums ?

And what about that stereo PPM with extra dot?

BTW, shouldn't the absence of George Martin credit put the value higher a bit on that Blue album?

yes the G. Martin omission should be more valuable than the norm, but the problem is that normal Lp's have little or no value/collectability

I do not think the extra dot will make much difference to the PPM..any y/b stereo is collectable anyway, the extra dot makes little difference imho, its more of a something us desperate sellers latch onto in a mostly vain attempt to attract other bids.....

BTW, shouldn't the absence of George Martin credit put the value higher a bit on that Blue album?

Red and blue albums are almost unsellable these days, only the coloured vinyl versions may attract some interest, but the standard issues were sold in such quantities that nobody bothers. Still it is what a lot of sellers offer at record fairs (and in their shops). The good desirable stuff has already gone on Ebay and what's left in the bin is a red and blue one (plus nearly always the Sgt Pepper LP by the BeeGees, a copy of London Town and a Star Club rererelease). I don't bother to visit most record fairs in my country anymore.
