At Ed's request I also post the pictures of this YS copy. http://imageshack.us/a/img542/5242/dscn4204u.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img29/6662/dscn4205n.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img23/6466/dscn4206m.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img255/7484/dscn4216w.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img825/8783/dscn4210j.jpg Sorry for the 1st side being a bit ugly, I do assure that the Apple looks really greenish as it can be seen from the pic of the inner. In the dead wax on both sides there's a symbol that looks like a triangle flag: what's that? Is the inner correct or it's simply a replacement? Also it's to be noted that on side 2 there's a small concentric circular ring: does it mean something? |

Haven't I read somewhere that the triangle is a mark of authenticity, or perhaps that of a particular pressing plant? AH |

Hey TIF4 - Thanks for these scans, they were not yet on our website, so it's a new variation! The "flag" symbol is actually a rifle (shape), which means it was pressed at the Winchester factory (Winchester is also famous for making shotgun rifles). Here's how to distinguish a USA pressing: * (star) = Los Angeles "rifle" (=triangle followed by a horizontal line) = Winchester triangle with the letters IAM = Scranton O (=letter 'O', or zero) = Jacksonville. The inner you've pictured is correct with this pressing. Also, the ring is nothing special and comes with most USA LP pressings of this period. |

I've found it at the fair last Sunday. I rember that the seller had 2 of these in October but at the time I haven't cared of it; so last Sunday I was there searching among the records....a Parlophon Italian Revolver....a Capitol standard issue....and finally I've found it: it was the last one left! You're right: that's the sticker that everyone wants to have! |

Good you bought it, fantastic record ! Frank's USA price guide gives a value of $50 (VG) to $200 (NM) for the sticker alone !! This was apparently only made with a stereo ST release number ? |

Yes, these stickers were only made for stereo records but they're also put (that's the case) on mono ones. |
