Back form the fair!

Got the T&S EP with "Do You Want A Know...." with SIUK in wonderful condition.

YS 1971 isue (still in shrink) with "MFD by Apple Records" only on side 2 but without "Capitol" logo; it's in outsatnding mint condition.
With what kind of inner did it come originally?

Mint RS 1 boxed label with EJ Day cover, is this type of cover right for the period?

A superb stereo UK Revolver for a steal (the inner is the one reading "Made In Great Britain" and "Patent Nos. 1.125,555"; I assume it to be incorrect).

RS plays really well, even on Michelle withvery minimal background noise (not like the stereo copy from '69 I have).

Revolver it does play with background noise only in the run-ins but with wonderful Eleanor Rigby (not even a spoiler there!).

But anyway I'm happy assuming that I can get '69 1 boxed copies or even 2 boxed ones from early 70s that will play in a brilliant way.

Henry, can you help me with those questions I posted before?

Yes the EJ Day stereo cover I think only comes with the one boxes, its an odd cover it does not look like an EJ Day that you would get on mono RS or Revolver at all but is almost identical to a Garrod

Yes thats quite right, unless it's a late 69 copy and even then it would be unusual, depending on its actual date, first pressings came with patents applied for sleeves, later issues from 67-9 could come in several different sleeves including the pat pending

Would then a 1 boxed with EJ Day sleeve enhance somehow the value?

And could these EJ Days be matched with orignal stereos anyway?

Did I do well?

If you like what you got (and you obviously do  ), then you did well.

As I grow older, I have acquired the curse of an arthritic knee and the blessing of not getting upset when other people don't get excited about the same stuff I do. Not that it prevents me from being an insufferable braggart when I think I have something pretty cool.

Having flattered myself about my emotional maturity, I will now disprove everything I just said:

What is wrong with you philistines? I post a dozen Uruguay temp covers in full living, dirty, water-damaged color, and I get a grant total of one reply? As King Elvis II pointedly asked, "why ya gotta say that there's always someone who can do it better than I can, cuz don't you think that I know that walking on the water won't make me a miracle man?"

I know what you mean, I couldn't give a toss about a Bolivian copy of Rubber Soul but I'm getting desperate when people are ignoring my posts about the fantastically rare UK Strawberry fileds I have found with post 71 polo rings and sold in UK text and my IWTHYH with a very odd slide ruler variation on NCB...I mean what is it with you people !!!?????
