Have just got this, UK solid label with sold in the UK across it. Is it a rare one?

No answers! so you can assume yes.

I haven't got it by the way, but I certainly don't have as many records as some people on here. Do you see many on ebay?

Been trying to get my collection back! I sold over 15 years ago, full collection of Beatles and all solo - all the rare stuff as well - ouch....

Ebay has been both a Godsend and a curse, you can get anything/everything but the cost......

I know that Nowhere Man is the rarest of ep's and assume the solid label is even rarer, hoping some of the experts on here could help.

My take as follows (though I'm prepared to be corrected :) )

I'd say it was incredibly rare; solid centres appeared around November 1966 and Nowhere Man was released in July of that year.

Nowhere Man with Sold In UK is rare in itself, having sold relatively few at the time of release, meaning that the original pressing run probably satisfied the demand. Consequently, a solid centred batch was probably a second pressing run in the late 60s, created specially by what lingering demand there was.

Hard, as ever, to put a price on it, but it would probably sell for double what a dinked copy would - and that's a fair lump, as we know.

Hope that helps...

Many thanks for that information. If I knew how to post a picture here I would!
